Camunda is a lightweight open source platform for business process management, designed for the fast and simple implementation of the processes. It's offered in two versions: Community and Enterprise.
Camunda provides well matched IT technology with a business based on the modern standards such as: BPMN for structured workflow, CMMN for the less connected activities, DMN for business rules.
It consists of elements that allows to: designing processes (Modeler), startup (Engine), monitoring (Cockpit) and optimization (Optimize). It also supports efficient process handling through a web browser (Tasklist).
It allows for a fast integration with newly designed or existing systems. To facilitate communication with the process engine, Camunda provides the clear layer of Java/REST API.
